The game started with the Patriots linebackers KOing some Universe linemen. Then went agressively against Clarke and Bradham. Took some educated gamble on the ball security, which paid off as Bortles shaked off the would be sacker. (It take certainly more than a rookie lineman to sack him, no matter a precise assist of Favre.

The game plan was also executed at containing Brockers, and not allowing him to break any meaningful tackle.

1st half ended with 1-0 for Patriots, after a successful 8 turn stall, and a good 1 turn defense.

2nd half saw some miscues, but generally went our way. There was a good pressure package by Flynn, and Gilmore making it hard for Flashfurt to score, but Evans made the score nevertheless. Patriots had 7 turns to make the win. Lost Hightower at the middle of the half, and then switched to positioning game, Mack pushing Brockers out of range, and Adams listening to coaching (and rerolling a bonehead rull), then making a critical block.

It was not without risk as Flynn had to go to the sideline cage, but that held up at the end. Flashfurt players seemed to be overall less ready to compete today.

Maybe the bad coaching decision in the previous match against 49ers helped Patriots to bring a good game plan, and execution was suffucient. Expect to play against Flashfurt in the playoff again.

It is a pity to miss Hightower and Jernigan for the next game, but it should not be critical. Mack and Bucannon are good enough to pick up the pace.”
