“The first half was unarguably an excrutiatingly turgid affair and an appalling advert for Blood Bowl. Both teams played it cautious. Nobody made any significant mistakes. The dice did nothing outrageous. Very little happened.
With the Undead kicking in the second half, and planting the ball just behind the line of scrimmage, the game, played in a heatwave in the 1st half and bright sunshine in the second, at last sparked into life.
A misclick from coach Maram almost proved disastrous, but the Orcs recovered to drive forward. The Undead managed to get enough players back to take down the ball carrier (thanks to some unlikely zombie dodges). It came down to turn 8, with the Maram needing 3+ without a reroll to pick the ball and run the TD home.
On this occasion he managed it. ”
