“After Superiore was stunned by an Elvish fan's throw the Champions set to work. As we advanced Rio Grande struck a fatal blow on an elf but somehow their apo saved him. Vilo a blodger superbly blitzed into our cage and badly hurt Santo (damn no block on skinks!). A joyous event turned to horror for them as Rio Grande had a thirst for blood and killed him! Plus he had side stepped on to the ball with his final action and the scatter went to Ultimatos for a Saurus catch! He marched off for a TD.
The Elves rushed a catcher through our line. He blitzed and dodged well but he kept going and tripped over his own feet. A pickup hadn't been tried yet so with the ball left on the ground Pintxos managed to grab it and went off with cover. Another both down cage break took him down. He retrieved and a cage break happened again! But he toughed it out, got up and handed off to another skink to make it 2-0 by half-time.
Second half the Elf accurate thrower pulled off a half-pitch long bomb to a waiting catcher in our endzone!
It seems all the Elves 1 were on gfis today and this time no Elves were able to get at Santo. He was delighted to make it 3-1 though the side from Anloc did get another back with a pass in the sunshine to Lessia who also dodged a blitz. We still had the win but alas in their final strike of the game the Defenders seriously concussed Barbarus, ending his career! ..The rest of the Champions will return.”
