“Well... it's a blessing and a curse when I can realize at the moment I did something stupid that it would be the game changer. Had a Blitz! to start the 2nd half, and I double GFI snake-eyed my blitzer after a successful take down while trying to get next to where the ball would land. Everyone else just stone cold flat footed. That was on me.

I made it a game by loosing the ball in my own endzone and getting it out to a straggling Blodge/Fend Catcher, but alas... POWs. Kept them from scoring the go ahead in regulation, but they received... neither of us had any rerolls. It was an uphill chance... I did loose the ball again, but a Blackjack (2-1) with my AG5 catcher trying to run through tackle zones fell our chance at recovery.

We played our game - the Guard / Mighty Blow elves played theirs... and was about all we could do. Good game throughout. Go get 'em, Piri.”
