Numbers do not show, but key KO's by blue night and some that didn't really return when it counted put the Fell Bats at a struggle for numbers. Down players, I'm surprised that we got as many blocks as we did. Good game, sir.
*SELF-CRITIQUE*
Defensive setups seemed fine... though I question my own judgement at this point. I am trying to maximize blocks of my own, but I don't think I've completely grasped how that is accomplished by not staying in contact. I know theory wise... but not in practice.
Cold dice at times for me during inopportune moments, but I turned over the ball and was setting up on offense to start the second half. Quick snap got me going for greedy blocks with zombies and it bit me in the ass. Decided to try and run back deep into my own endzone as I attempted to get some better hits in, but it backfired and we lost our guard, Xtreme... which just exasperated our blocking even more.
Failed blitzes on the ball carrier gave up the tying TD, and while we had a shot to maybe score the go ahead on T16... it was sunny, we had zero rerolls, and my zombie blitz to free a ghoul BlockPOW'd himself. I'm kinda sucking right now. Gotta spring out of it.”
