“Awesome game against a fun and fluffy goblin team, first time I met them. Two ball and chain players on the pitch were a big concern for the elves, and they decided to gang up on them in turn 1 and 2 of the game and knock them clear off the pitch.

Gobbos held out until turn 7 with the score in the first half, then there was a riot, and when the dust cleared the ref set the clock back one turn and gave the elves a good shot at some elfball shenanigans, running the ball in for a sweet 1-1 at halftime.

Bribes had all been used up, and the coach himself sent off, so the Hail Mary Bomber got a precious single bomb thrown down the field (which actually did knock the ball out of the hands of the AG5 ball carrier and stun him, but he will fight another day).

Only permanent damage to the teams was a rookie gobbo and a MA- line elf, so both coaches were quite pleased.

At the last two lineups of the game, the gobbo coach was able to field the troll and 5 goblins, and it was far too easy for the elves to run the ball in for a 3-1.

Game played in good cheer, will be happy for a rematch. After this game, only halflings and vampires remain for the Linguists to fill their line in the grid! These are exciting times!
