“I have finally time for overdue match report updates. This was the divisional round of season7 of DLE against 2 time champion Wreckage (being 2 time champion myself when the game was played).

The game was a special one on multiple levels. First, the opponent was a coach who rarely makes any mistake, and second, the Thunder squad sports a great 1 turning menace, who can do it alone, and reliably. So the game plan was to not stall, but try to stop the opposition in a long drive, and try to turn the ball over.
Following that plan Johnson went for sacking attempts early and often. First one was not successful in spite of a reroll, but then 2nd was spot on, and managed to pressure the opposition. It was a mad scramble in the 2nd (most important) drive of the game while Pats leading 1-0, where ultimately the Pats managed to outposition and overpower the Thunder players, sack the baller, get a favorable throwback ball, then score defensively as time almost run out.
Then even got lucky as blitz event was rolled, Rice was not marked, and managed to pow Tavon Austin. Half ended 2-0.

Thunder elected to score quickly. Like REALLY quickly, opening the 2nd half with a 1 turn score, showing Austin's amazing skills.
Then it was Thunder's turn to put the pressure on Pats players, which they did successfully. When it was all about to break down, Bortles managed to squeeze through a lane, hand over to Bruckamner, who raced for the goal, supported by teammates.

Really intense game that was a costly one, as Clifton misses the all important conference final, and Grange killed early. Apothecary was not for his help on turn1, it was saved for more important players, or for a badly hurt.
