“This will be famous for being John Bostic's farewell game. Reason: Cascade caused 4 MNGs in total, Bostic got his 2nd perm (both legged chopped so to speak), and the team management was:
- Not confident going into next round with 12 players
- Carrying Bostic when cap situation is tight
- Low on developmental prospects
- Midseason is near if any adjustment needed
- 4 movement and excessive dirty player skill was too much to carry. (With Tom Goblin's maturation there are already 2 proficient dirty players. 3rd was just a luxury the team could not afford long term.)

About the game? It was bloody. Pats players hit strong, and secured the win with a blitz and a vintage 1st turn in 2nd half. Cascade played tough, and well, and went after (successfully) the weak links, eliminating a lot, but ultimately not enough to steal some point(s).

Derek Wolfe (former patriots), Wanja Niedermayer (part of trade discussion), Friedrich Dunkelhelm (former Bucs player) were longtime friends at Broekwater, but they did their job and played like enemies. Well done.
