“I played three Skaven matches today. Had a flukey win against some Chaos Chosen, got utterly spanked by a mob of Bret linemen, and then finished with this draw, which was a bad idea just before bed because there was much too much excitement.
Thought I'd tied up a second TD early in the second half, but I didn't reckon with an angry elf and he got my runner down and the ball away. The blizzard didn't help much. On the other hand, Stuart Little excelled himself, knocking out the only player with Block on a 0th turn blitz, and making trouble for most of the rest of the game. You can't keep a good rat down, it turns out.
Looking forward to this team getting a bit more skilful though. The more mutations, the more fun it gets.
Very sporting on both sides, I thought. I would have grumbled about the slow stall to score in the second half, if I hadn't been doing exactly the same in the first. A 1-1 draw where you don't know until the end who could win is preferable to 2-0 in either direction.”
