What a huge match from the Gob Smackers! They kept the Echoes from scoring the winning TD until the final turn. The Echoes managed a tight victory, despite starting the match an Elf down.

During the game Hooge Wun (troll) threw Nyn for a TD to equalise 1-1. Nobbla and Fungus were invaluable in the first drive of the game, keeping the Wood Wlves from inflicting too much pain on the Gobbies.

Generally a great time was had by all, and the Smackers go onto their next match with their collective heads justifiably held high.

3 votes for #12 Karesh Var (a.k.a. Hal) - Despite his bummer of a birth mark he escaped the game uninjured, and generally cause great grief amongst the Gobbies throughout the game.

2 votes for #16 Ra-Hel - For not killing anyone!

1 vote for #7 Ammon - For 7 rushes, 10 blocks and a TD.

Well one coach's Huge match is anothers shocker. Questor Anu thought he had a team of George Gregans out there for a while (So abysmal was the "Echoes" performance). All credit to Freckles... she got the absolute best out of the wee green ones this match, shame for her the two trolls didnt really help out. Seeming more interested in fumbling or trying to eat their little buddies than setting up more spectacular TD's as seen by Nyn in the first half. No injuries.. which is rare but would really have prefered some more spp's to prepare for the evil match that looms against Food For Thawt. Karesh Var was everywhere, but did botch a few things as this streaky player is wont to do.. plus none of his teammates seemed inclined to catch his majestic spirals. Ra-Hel was absysmal. Knocked down early by Fungus he rarely threatened... ever... constantly failing to get up or taking root as if he was low on nutrients or something. Well the season has been a mixed bag... and will be defined by our last match. Good luck Freckles... the Gob Smackers seem to be rising to the occasion of the SWL after an understandably tentative start.

Twahnlow Votes:

3 Votes to #11 "Nyn"- Flying TD without any rerolls was a thing of beauty, gave the 'Smackers' reason to believe.

2 Votes to #6 "Forr"- Excellent opportunist TD from under the incompetant noses of the Echoes players. Not to mention brilliant nuisance value with his diving tackles.

1 Vote to #10 "Fungus the Loon"- This crazy fanatic spun himself onto "THE LIST" right next to 'Econo-save', put many an Echoes player down including Ra-Hel.. though did cost his team all their first half rerolls before being banned by the ref.
