Baron Hugh Striesen is actually a veteran of Blood Bowl. Once having played for the Streissen Vampires, Baron Hugh was well known for running around the pitch as well as off the pitch to feed on some poor victim in the crowd. Fortunately for him he had to miss their faithful final match before they were disbanded after their Vampire Lord was staked by the now famous Zara the Slayer.

It was his opportunity to reenter the Blood Bowl world as a founding member in the Drakenhof Ravagers.

-------

The infamy of the Striessen Vampires still lives on to this day. So much so that Baron Hugh Striesen was struck by a rock from spectators in the Ravager's match against the Lizardmen, Deep Web Lizards. It is unknown who the attacker is so far but rumours abound it may be an old fan of the Striessen Vampires.

-------

Things were looking up for Baron Hugh Striesen. Too up it seems as just like his other fallen colleagues, it seems that he could not be immortal for long. Against the Orc team "That was Orcful", the Baron was surrounded by three Orc players. Meekly dodging out, Hugh struck down one of the opposing Orcs. Attempting to regain his momentum, he dashed towards an Orc blitzer to stop him from pursuing the Ravager's Ball Carrier.

Suddenly the Baron slipped trying to go for it and to the shock of both the Orcs and Vampires, died. It is unknown exactly what killed him but it has been rated among the most unceremonious deaths this year in the Open Leagues.

He was the third of the original five Vampires to fall.
