Griswald was a former blacksmith. After seeing much of his equipment being put to use on Cabalvision in a local tavern, Griswald was enthused to forge his own set of equipment and get going on the field himself. A large, burly man, Griswald already had the build to play in the game of Blood Bowl but the big question was if he would have the personality.

Turned out that Griswald was a formidable player. During training sessions, he was so succesful and brutal, Griswald was signed on to become a blitzer for the Middenheim Bruisers.

----------

Proving to be an exceptional blitzer every match and going from strength to strength, Griswald looked nearly unstoppable. However much to his misfortune, Griswalf suffered a crippling injury during a match against the Chaos team, Mu-tiny.

A Chaos Chosen Blocker ferociously blitzed Griswald and killed him outright with its massive claws and tremendous strength. The apothecary saved him however but could not fully heal the damage. Griswald is still more than capable of playing but this may prove to stiffle his progress as the team continues on.

------

Griswald received yet a second lasting injury in the form of a smashed ankle in a match against a Chaos Dwarf team, Shining Force. A Chaos Dwarf struck him from behind in the middle of a scrum. Although normally this would be the end of a blitzers career, Griswald's tenacity and dedication to the team ensured that he would not be cut. Despite two lasting injuries, Griswald continues to serve the team as an invaluable member.
