The San Luis 49ers is one of the founding members of the DLE, owned by Valen DeBartolo the team promises to bring glamour to the league. Under the guidance of head coach Bill Walsh’s west coast offence the team will look rain down passes and lots and lots of touchdowns. San Luis plays their games in the fantastic Candlestick Park on the banks of the San Luis Bay. HONORS None YET DLE matches are played under CRP rules - no game options take place with the following exceptions/additions: • No team may take any inducements - no matter if they are free inducements or bought from petty cash. • For a win you get 3 points, for a draw you get 1 point, and 0 points for losses, concessions, and no shows. • During play offs there will be sudden death overtime, of course. • 10 days to complete a round. (We are strict on all rules, emphasize this deadline, so don’t expect extension.) • Coaches are expected to be able to play their games in European time zones. • Breaking the rules, egregious or repeated concessions, egregious or repeated no shows may result in forfeiture of draft picks in the oncoming draft. “Tanking” via concessions and no shows will not be tolerated! If you want to tank for next draft, then your best bet is to try scoring often, and collect SPPs, so play at least semi-competitively. You are, of course, allowed to put your reserve squad on the field... • If a player dies, or retired for any reason, then the team is allowed to buy a rookie replacement. • Compensation picks: If a Franchise player dies or has been retired, then the team gets a late 3rd round compensation draft pick in the next draft. If a 1st round draft pick dies or retired, then the team gets a late 4th round compensation draft pick in the next draft. The 49ers bring the much needed glamour to the DLE, however they will be no push overs. Any player they lose will be avenged!! Team Rivalaries Remas Eagles are one of the 49ers divisional rivals. Coached by Arcayn they are high on the hitlist. Rotenbach Razorbacks are one of the 49ers other divisional rivals. Coached by SpecialOne they are high on the hitlist. Wolfsbach Scimitars are the 49ers last remaining divisional rivals. Coached by Kaiowas they are high on the hitlist. Legends to be Avenged San Luis 49ers lost Brandin Cooks (smashed ankle) Steve Young (RIP) and Bryant Young (RIP) in week 8 versus the Talabheim Sluggers. All injuries were at the hand of blitzer Anthony Barr. Barr must be avenged. Did You Know? Many a fan can be seen tucking into turtle chowder on game days and partying with Sourdough Sam the team mascot. Did You Know? Sammy Watkins was approached by the Remas Eagles before signing for the 49ers, he is reported to have told them "why on the old world would I play for that shite" Did You Know?
