St.Agnes College Kilted Saints

St.Agnes College is located on a hilltop just outside of Carroburg. When Carroburg's entry into the DLE became a great success story, the nuns of St.Agnes decided to work on female participation in the DLE. Thus was the St.Agnes College Kilted Saints created. With the failure of Skajadholm Sisters, St.Agnes is now the only college team accepting women, and has been a magnet on any girl with a serious death wish...opps... a wish to play the game! Thus, they come from all of the Old World to play, and St.Agnes thus has a wide range of talent. As abbess Catharina puts it: "At St.Agnes we have all the normal classes for Girls; playing instruments, learning Languages, poetry and etiquette. All at 1 hour a week. The rest, of course, is Blood Bowl. If any of my girls learn to speak another language, they must be clever, 'cause they sure as Hell haven't learnt it here!"

The name was heavily discussed among the players, until abbess Catharina decided on Saints. This raised considerable ruckus, and the players were able to add kilted, thus gaining the famous acronym SACKS... Also, a considerable number of the girls have snickered at being called Saints!

St.Agnes asked Coach Vatn of the Carroburg Crimson Cascade for advice on coaching, and he brought in Rana Kettilsdottir from his hometown to be head Coach. Rumours has it that abbess Catharina has had many opportunities to regret asking for advice... Famous players from the CCC comes to St.Agnes once a week to teach specialist classes.

Famous players:
Renate Dedekind: The teams first quarterback and kid sister of CCC's famous quarterback and present head coach Inga Dedekind. The very first of the Saints to get into the DLE. She figured in draft 8 and was drafted by the Skar Bay Sharks. She was killed in the second game week of Season 9 by Micha "Daddy" Muller of the Buccaneers.

Sine MacAoidh: The first scoring player of the Saints was linewoman Sine.
