P [R] Skaven

After winning a tabletop skaven team on BUBBLE 2011, I decided to learn to play Skaven.

2012/04/21: The team was developing very nicely, until this match. Then it was a rookie team again.

2012/07/10: The team just went from 40/14/2 to 40/14/4. I must be losing my touch.

Hall of Fame:

Royal College of Surgeons was my first natural oneturner, and a lovely player.

Shaking rat Kawasaki was a very nice player. Having an AG4 thrower has really spoiled me.

Rowett Nude II was a good defender and would have made a nice oneturner.

Rowett Nude III was magic, and would have made a perfect sacker in time.

Long II was an excellent sacker.

Vulgaris was a nasty piece of work. After a niggle and not rolling doubles 5 times, I wasn't entirely sad to see him go.

Royal College of Surgeons III was a lovely mutant gutter, but bloaty as hell. With 2 heads and 4 arms, he was vastly inferior to (but much cooler than) a +AG gutter. As such, losing him probably didn't do the team much harm, but I'm still sad to see him go.

Dawley II was an amazing retrieval specialist. With his two heads and huge forepaw, this gutter could get the ball anywhere it went. Suffering 7 serious injuries, Dawley II slowed down a bit towards the end of his carreer, but he was nevertheless central to the team's great performance for over 50 games. With 132 spps he was the team's highest achieving player for a long time.

Rowett Nude IV had an early carreer as a sacker, with a later development as a onteturner. This made him a solid all-rounder and a great asset. However, he saw too much playtime and represented too much TV for his -AV to be acceptable.

Wistar II was this team's first and only legend, and was my first ever clawpomb legend. Taking a debatable +MA made him great for hunting halfway across the pitch, and his legend skill horns let him do so with little help, striking fear into the enemy's hearts all over.

Royal College of Surgeons V was a splendid rat, gutterier than a gutter. He had just skilled when that same game a random block said sploosh!

Vulgaris II was a great killer, killed by an unskilled foul and an unskilled apothecary.

Tourney history: out in Round 1 of the LC, playing vs zons with only 1 tackle.
