The nomadic tribesmen of Ka-Sabar have answered the challenge put forth by Tomb King Settra.
Having wandered the desolate wastelands of Khemri for centuries, they were thought
to be all but lost to the driving sands, only to reemerge to take to the fields of glory.

The desert heeds the call of

For the first four seasons the Bedouin were staunch followers of Settra, but his perceived failing to fully support the team in season four, and a lucrative shoe endorsement, swayed the Bedouin to Nagash's side for season five. For their betrayal of Settra, Nagash kindly granted them their two top draft picks.

KPL SEASON I CHAMPIONS

The Bedouin's first season was capped by winning the inaugural KPL Championship. The season got off to a bumpy start with some tough defeats, eventually ending with an 8 and 3 record. That was enough to secure third place in the KFC and a playoff spot. In the playoffs, the Bedouin found their feet, and etched their names in history.

. Elixir of Immortality .

Hutz Wyrmmeater Became the first ever player to attain immortality in the KPL. As a ghoul, he had always yearned for eternal life, envying those other players who died, then just regenerated and returned to play again. He earned his reward through amazing play throughout the season, especially in the final match, making a last minute pickup in traffic and a long pass to secure the lead. Then, in overtime, he tucked the spiked ball under his arm and ran straight for the end zone. He scored the winning touchdown, then kept running, straight to the royal box and King Settra, handing him the game ball. In return he eagerly accepted the elixir of immortality and downed his destiny in a single quenching gulp.

. Victor's Crown .

Team captain, Jurti al-Alaldinaseehim, was presented with the Victor's Crown (Pro & Leader) to commemorate the Bedouin's KPL Championship in season I. Fittingly, he received the game MVP.

KPL SEASON II

The Bedouin won their division in season two, but came up short in the playoffs, falling in the semifinals (KFC conference final) to the eventual winners, the Quatar Heretics.

KPL SEASON III CHAMPIONS

The Bedouin won their division again in season three, and were the top foulers for the third straight season, amassing 53 sneaky boots in 7 played games. The Bedouin earned a bye for the first week of the playoffs, then had three back-to-back-to-back games where almost nothing could go wrong. Other than losing their two prized draft picks from season three, chainsaw players Qil al-Uthr Mehnths and Blohk wa Wrehka, everything went their way. In the end, they walked a 2-0 win over the three-time runners up Quatar Nobbnibblers.

. Elixir of Immortality .

Merhth al-Forgeth became the second Bedouin player to receive the coveted Elixir of Immortality. Having shone since revealing his great speed in season one, he was finally able to taste the sweetness of immortality. His great speed and ball handling will be sorely missed by the team, but his ethereal presence will continue to guide them to future victories.

. Victor's Crown .

New Mummy rookie, Aya Kilyabadr, was presented with the Victor's Crown (Pro, Guard & Side Step) to commemorate the Bedouin's KPL Championship in season III. He was helpful in the Bedouin's playoff run, and it is hoped he will be able to anchor the line so the Bedouin can secure a third title.

KPL SEASON IV

The Bedouin went a perfect 8-0 in the regular season, but came up short in the playoffs against an impressive Lybaras Wolves team, where they lost up and coming superstar Lakrash ibn Mehrth. For the fourth straight season they won the fouling title. They also won the casualty title for the second time, and the rushing and touch down titles for the first time. The team has headed out to the deepest reaches of the desert to train in solitude for the fifth season.
Expect them to return with a vengeance...

Mercury Morris Award - Season IV

Attention KPL Land. Attention! Because of KPL Europe's ongoing alcoholism, malnutrition, and dehydration, the NFC Final has been delayed. But never fear boredom - there is a very important award to hand out to a deserving coach... Let the Mercury Morris Award ceremony begin!

Refresher course: The Mercury Morris Award is given each season to the last KPL team to suffer a loss. The Mercury Morris Award serves as a respectful salute to all the brave warriors who try, come close, and then ultimately fail to equal the Quatar Heretics' 13-0 Season 2 record.

The Ka-Sabar Bedouin cruised to a 10-0 record in the regular season, only to fall to their arch-rival - the Lybaras Wolves in the playoffs. Depression and dark days followed for coach WhatBall and the boys. Lighten up fellas! Not every team can field great players like Mercury Morris or The Ayatollah of Lawn Mowing. As all KPL players, the Bedouin rank-and-file must face this unavoidable reality every day. Some things in life and undeath must simply be accepted: Death, death again, taxes, and never in your careers being able to go undefeated like the Quatar Heretics did. Without further ado, I now present WhatBall the Season 4 Mercury Morris Award!

One more trophy for a crowded case. Make room in there! But before you put it on display, make sure you bring your team by the gates of Perfectville and present your ticket to the guards. They'll get the Bedouin mounted up on camels for an 8 hour tour. Aside from the statues and monuments around town, enjoy the new museum* with hundreds of photographs, game-worn sweatbands, and video remembrances of the Season 2 Heretics' historic run. And of course stop by the restaurant for a viewing of the Heretics champagne ceremony**. We'll await your arrival before popping the corks!

WhatBAll aboard the Camel Train!!!

* Do not dismount from your camel in the museum. Stay on designated paths.
** No food served to visitors. We recommend that you eat a full meal before arriving in Perfectville, as the team buffet will be nearby and it could make you hungry.

KPL SEASON V

Season five was another strong regular season for the Bedouin. Although they on "recruited" a record low three players this season, they were quintuple fouling champs and won their division and a first round bye for the playoffs. Unfortunately they suffered their first ever loss to the Quatar Nobnibblers. To add insult to injury, the rest of the KFC conference faltered and let the NFC claim their first KPL championship. The Bedouin vowed to return even stronger and more vicious for season six and reclaim the trophy they believe is rightfully theirs.

KPL SEASON VI

Preseason: Season six began with a shake up of the KPL rule book and the realization that the arcane relics (secret weapons) came with a price. These revelations saw many relic holders mutated, twisted or even killed. Thankfully for the Bedouin, J'ahn Feere, their chainsaw wielding skeleton, he was at peace with his relic. The new rules however dictated that no team could have more than one of these relics, a change clearly aimed at hamstringing the Bedouin, and the longest living and greatest relic holder to date, Husqu al-Manshar, was forced into early retirement. Despite suffering multiple lasting injuries and many more near fatalities he regenerated from, he was still able to dole out a desert of pain on the opposition. He will be remembered always. To try and account for the lost saw, the Bedouin are experimenting with other relics this season, and drafted Abu A'boot for his stabbing ability. He was a bit of a loner in training camp, so the jury is still out on his long term position in the team.

Regular season: As they had promised after their early exit from the playoffs in season V, the Bedouin came back with a vengeance in the regular season. They went 11 and 1 with two forfeits, only losing one off game to the Mahrak Dune Immortals. During their 11 played games they amassed a staggering 64 casualties on opponents and 78 fouls. They also managed to score a league-high 21 touch downs. The biggest loss of the season was the death of super star runner Mahkrude Fehr. It is hoped his speedy successor Mancala ibn Fehr will fill his vacancy for the playoffs. With the regular season behind them, the Bedouin are now firmly focused on the only thing that matters, their third championship.

Mercury Morris Award - Season VI

We got another one of these in the mail. The plan is to skip the tour this time and enjoy a victory parade instead back in Ka-Sabar.
