Collaboration is at the heart of research and the LOC embody that principle. Their research facilities are (old)world reknown and many famous researchers travel there to aide in their research.


History of the LOC
Standing on the Shoulders of Ogres
Loosely affiliated with Large Ogre Colliders, Large Ogre Colliders II and L.O.C. Pro Academy (where budding scientists are trained). Also know as the Large Ogre Colliders (On Tour) for tax reasons.
Latest News
From the desk of the director...
  • (2016.06.14): Finally, after 135 games, the LOC can say they have collaborated with every race after finally hearing back from some Khemri scientists and arranging a time to visit their dusty facilities.

  • (2016.05.03): A close fought draw vs skaven followed by a win vs halflings sees the LOC secure funding worth 130k over two games. A fifth ogre is purchased and a dent is made in securing a sixth.

  • (2016.04.27): Three ogres are sacked and rehired as rookies as they're at 3 skills with no doubles. First game, 2 of them dead to cpomb. Buy new ogre to take team up to 5. 3 games later, 2 more dead. Long long road to recovery for the LOC

  • (2016.04.24): No matter how much the LOC love watching players fly, this match is the last time we deliberately give the opposing team a touchback for that purpose.

  • (2016.04.23): The LOC appear to be getting back into their stride after a funding drought. Their past 7 games have included 2 wins (unheard of) and 2 draws (also rather rate). Recent games of note are a draw vs Chaos Dwarves, a draw vs Orcs that would have been a win but for a failed bonehead, a bloody bloody win vs Ogres that led to the other team disbanding and finally a heroic win vs Dark Elves

  • (2016.04.12): Research in the box is a lot more dangerous with less reward. 2 brave scientists have lost their lives, in exchange for only 3 discoveries.
