Sent by the Great Lord of Pestilence, Chaos God Nurgle himself, the Nurgle Plaguebearers' intention is not only to have success in winning matches, but also in spreading Nurgle's Gift of Pestilence onto the Blood Bowl Pitch. Papa Nurgle is watching all of their matches sitting next to Nuffle and is laughing loud with his god pal.

The team is quite new in the league with just one season played but they are here to stay.


Seasons
Season 1 (CIBBL - Year Two, Summer - Bloodskull Chalice)
In their first match, the Great Unclean One scored the first touchdown and the Plaguebearers won the match vs Underworld with the help of the active playercoach Lewdgrip and the support of their fans. While the following match against the Khorne Deamons was lost, the match against the Tzeentch Deamons brought the second win in the season. After that the Nurgle Deamons lost against the Sisters of Sigmar who fought really hard based on the trust in their faith. With 2 wins and 2 losses the Season was quite a good start for the Plaguebearers.

Season 2 (CIBBL - Year Two, Autumn - Marble Division)
A very successful season for the Plaguebearers ending in the championship of the Marble Division. On their way they won all of their matches of the season. Playcoach Lewdgrip just had the chance to play in the first match of the season vs Pirates of Sartosa, where the Plaguebearers killed a pirate and crippled an ogre. In their third match against Carstein Vamppires they had to play against two stars, Wilhelm Chaney and Quasimordor. But the two stars couldnt help them suffering 7 casualties made by the plaguebearers. In a demon derby match vs Tzeentch Demons the Plaguebearers lost one of their chosen ones, Crizhol Vomitflesh after a block by a Pink Horror. In their last match a Dryad joined Nurgles Army. A perfect season for Father Nurgle.
