The goal of this team will be to score via the Hail-Mary Pass/Diving Catch combo whenever practical.

We want to show just how broken that skill combination is to the BloodBowl world (decker doesn't get that joke). As such, the 1st skill taken on throwers will be HMP and the 1st skill taken on Catchers will be Diving Catch.

Number or times skills have combined as designed: 3

  1. 1. Our 1st HMP/Diving-Catch touchdown came in our 6th match against Go Jesperius!
  2. 2. We scored a HMP TD in the 1st round of a Smack against Haunters of the Dark - but the pass scattered back to the receiver, so the diving catch never triggered.
  3. 3. We pulled one off in a loss to Olympic Usurpers in our 22nd match.
  4. 4. The combo was used in a weird way to score in our 25th match against Run En Gunners III. The target square was blocked by my own guy, so I used the diving-catch move to clear away from a Rat Ogre and next to the elf fielding the ball. He grabbed it and handed off to the catcher who scored without needing to dodge.
  5. 5. We did another one of those "goes to wrong catcher, hand off to other catcher to score" plays against Cedar Crisps in a loss in the Fumbbl Cup - well, we tried!
  6. 6. The combo worked in our 28th match against Shimmerwind. We handed the ball off after the catch to skill another catcher.
  7. 7. Hey, the combo works great in CRP! We scored as designed in the 1st round of the UI Grey Lantern against Sleekit Skelpers. The TD required some insane dodging, but that's pro elves for you.

Note: I'm tired of getting so beat up that I can't even attempt the combo in the 2nd half. As such, we are turning into unabashed elfbowlers. If this bothers you, you are clearly a dork.
