[L] Lizardmen
| The first team to fly the Redgum flag in the SWL Reggies. Prep with thanks to: SWL Crusaders (Tathar) James Hardie Utd (Karix) Rockcity Educators (Luohghcra) Unremarkable (Laviak) Super Swap-in Squad (Oldbugman) The Reptiles enter league play with a streak of 5 straight losses having caused only 2 Badly Hurts and scored one TD. Bartleia and Scincidae sacrificed their little skinky lives to the cause. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=yearbook&team_id=595785">Yearbook</a> SWL XXXIII: The Reptiles competed in the Vanguards Arc Regional and emerged with a record of 0-0-7. Euprepio received personal honours as the Regional Twahnlow winner (with 18 votes) and the Bronze Shield for most blocks in a Regionals season. Team highlights included 3 TDs (especially a 2 turner v Dwarfs for Euprepio), Primordius laying a block so fearsom he Badly Hurt himself and killed an Ogre, and very little else. They will be back though, if for no other reason than Euprepio (now 6 time MVP) needing a team to play with. B&F: Euprepio (7), Primordius (5), Varanus (4). SWL XXXIV: The Reptiles' second season in the Stinkers Regional brought 6 TDs (double last season), their first win and their first draw. A season of 1-1-5 saw them climb off the bottom of the ladder and while Euprepio was good again he was no longer asked to play a lone hand. Thin Lizzie joined the team and proved an immediate hit. Eremius scored twice, and Primordius became the first Reptile to pass 100 career rushing yards. Scincadae even made a pass! B&F: Odatria Jnr (7), Eremius (6), Varanus (6), Scincidae Jnr (6). SWL XXXV: In a shortened season the Reptiles again played in an expanded Regional league. The team really started to gel and with a strong performance from the Sauri and a solid season from Thin Lizzie the crowds started to acknoweldge that the Reptiles put on a good show. Euprepio dished out a couple of casualties and Primordius proved his value to the team, but the real revelation was the growing support from the skinks. Bassiana and Tiliqua scored 2 TDs each as the Reptiles ran in 7 for the year, as many as they conceded. Tiliqua also made an interception and for the first time the Reptiles had a season with more running yards than their opponents. Partly as a result of this improvement, and partly as a result of some fortuitous forfeits they find themselves promoted and preparing for their first crack at the Conference League. B&F: Tiliqua (8), Bassiana Jnr (6), Euprepio (4). SWL XXXVI: Competing for the first time in the Manfred Funeral Gala Conference the Reptiles had an amazing season, easily their most successful so far despite the jump in competetiveness. With a season record of 3 - 3 - 1 they sat proudly in third place! They finished the season with a positive TD record (11 - 10). Anomalopus Jnr was the star with 4 scores. Eremius and Bartleia III got 2 each. Unfortunately the CAS count told a different story. Scalaris and Bassiana Jnr lost their lives in a narrow victory over the Red Star Strikers, and Calyptotis III to the Seekers of the Sepulchre, but the heaviest loss was undoubtedly Euprepio: killed after Nelson Ormogov of the Stalingrad White Stallions threw him into a bloodthirsty crowd. They will go into season XXXVII missing three of their best players and rebuilding from a punishing introduction to Conference play. B&F: Anomalopus Jnr (14), Eremius (8), Bartleia III (7) Season XXXVII: Competing in the Blax Landric Conference. The season started with a tough game; Thin Lizzie, Varanus and Odatria Jnr all unavailable due to injuries inflicted by The Watchmen at the end of season XXXVI. Bassiana III was killed and the game finished 2-0 in favour of the Chaos Dwarfs. That opening loss was however to be the last for the season, The Reptiles again finishing with a 3 - 3 - 1 record and another 3rd place finish. Anomalopus Jnr equalled his Season XXXVI tally of 4 TDs, but it was Varanus who stepped up his game to a new level with over 40 blocks, 7 CAS, a TD and even an Interception. Sadly Bassiana IV was killed by The Really High Elves, but it was age more than injury which weakened the Reptiles. Odatria Jnr seems to have lost a yard of pace and Anomalopus Jnr has stress-fractures in his feet which will see him miss games unless they're managed well. Primordius, a foundation member of the Reptiles, finally felt the effects of his age. He had planned a testimonial for the last game of the season but a Virus cruelly denied him his final game and he has gone away now into retirement leaving one of his hatching pool juniors to take his place. B&F: Varanus (19), Anomalopus Jnr (14), Euprepio Jnr (8) Season XXXVIII: Competing in Eth'el's Conference. The season started poorly. Hang over injuries from the end of season XXXVII and some tough early opponents (the eventual top 3) saw the Reptiles 0-0-3 having suffered some heavy losses and with relegation a real risk. Thankfully the skinks came to the fore when they were needed. Bartleia III's 4 yard completion and second half TD against More Rats of Nymh proved turning points in the season and the Reptiles grew in confidence game-by-game, finishing the season with 4 matches unbeaten and lifting themselves to a 4th place finish with a 3-1-3 record despite a -11 CAS count (including career ending injuries to Thin Lizzie and Anomalopus Jnr). Euprepio Jnr continued his quest to forge his own reputation outside of his father's shadow, and 4 CAS to set up a crucial win against the Dwarfs from Karak Und was enough to give him the season B&F. B&F: Euprepio Jnr (8), Bassiana V (6), Scincidae Jnr (6). Season XXXIX: Things started poorly for the Reptiles in season XXXIX. Competing in Xies-ler-aym's Conference the team fell to narrow early losses against the Dwarfs of Karak Und and the chaos of Mort Avaritia, with only the corpse of Janet Holmes a Court to console them. The season improved from the third game though... a win in the Lizard derby and Anomalopous III's hat-trick in a 4-0 thrashing of the Stalingrad Stallions set the tone. The revenge against the Norse for Euprepio's death particularly sweet with nelson Ormogov seriously injured and 2 other norsemen killed. Scincadae Jnr scored a double to secure the win against Eganra's rats, and when the Reptiles went 2-0 up against the Windies Premier Division seemed within reach. Unfortunately pride comes before the fall and Mark Cuz's humans staged a remarkable comeback to level the game. With a win needed the Reptiles failed utterly, suffering their heaviest defeat of the year against the Skye Krushars, but after a nervous wait results fell their way and they secured 2nd place in the Conference.
