Grey Seer Ferrel Warpstone cackled gleefully as a sickly green wave of steaming putrescence shot forth from his gnarled and mutated paws. The wave washed over the prisoners that were chained helplessly to the dungeon wall. The screams as their flesh quickly dissolved sounded like sweet harmony to the Grey Seer.

Rather than draining him like normal, the warpstone charged spell he had unleashed instead made him feel strangely much stronger. Perhaps the quality of warpstone the slaves were digging in the deep bowels of the earth was significantly higher than any he had had the pleasure to consume previously, or perhaps the strength of the Horned Rat was momentarily greater than that of Nuffle..

Ferrel left the pitch after the inaugral game pf the Vermintide in a grand mood. He had painted a de-clawed Rat Ogre in the colors of their hated enemy, (everyother team, so it was a bit of a kaleidascope of chaos) and had his gutter runners repeatedly thrash the practice dummy. They had taken to it with such vigor that both learned the trait of Dauntless, something that was perhaps going to pave the way towards glory, and perhaps some hard cash.
