HISTORY OF THE RAT-KING "Your rats got balls" - Severedunit, Opposing Coach 2012- This is the team page for the Skaven Blood Bowl team known as "The Rat-King", a Skaven death cult whose members have come together to face and defeat ever greater adversaries in the name of the Horned Rat- or die trying! Only the most savage and aggressive Skaven can join, sworn in by a blood oath in which they tear the throat out of 10 rats with their teeth and drink each dry of blood. These unhinged ratmen work themselves into a frenzied, barely contained rage before a game begins known as "Black Hunger". Once on the pitch they attack the opposing players with a barely contained glee, raking them with savage claws and gnashing at them with razor sharp, broken fangs. Although only small and quite frail, these dark children of Chaos may yet be the downfall of many a player, or at least that's what the fans hope! It may look like The Rat-King is beaten but it will never be defeated! After all, what's a bunch of dead players to a dedicated Skaven Coach? Life is cheap, linerats are many. ***Did you know?*** All of The Rat-King's players are named after the Latin names for different species of Rats.
