My first ever 1 turn TD, narrowly saving me a draw against another team of gobbos. A very damaging match.
Injured so badly by their first match, we had to buy an apothecary of all things just to get enough TV to be eligible for scheduling in Box. Here's the recovery game...
Only 3 casualties? By the end of it, the pitch had only one goblin left on it, and King Dumb-Dumb was nursing a bad injury that he didn't regenerate from. Probably an early retirement for him.
Five casualties but no serious injuries. Pitch clear at turn 15.
Graciously, Civite didn't use his dwarfs to kill every single one of my goblins. The recovery started here with my rope-a-dope planning...
4-0 against elves but I feel victorious that in the final moments, we denied them 5-0.
We can't escape Civite and his dwarfs! In this rematch, it was 3-0, but although Major Misunderstanding died, we resuscitated him. Yay for the apothecary!
4-0 to some elves. On the positive side, Major Misunderstanding didn't die. Downside, King Dumb-Dumb is out for a game and Egregious Behaviour will need replacing.
Another draw at last! It may have been against Ogres, but a draw is a draw. Major Misunderstanding got three casualties, we hardly missed King Dumb-Dumb. Even our wounded pogoist did something good with his life.
Let's not jinx things, but with the tenth match we may be getting out of recovery mode at last. Major Misunderstanding had another near miss, almost getting his collar bone shattered until the apothecary stepped in. The Queen hurt one lineman and killed another, and we managed one good foul of the 9 we tried.
11th match, and it was chorfs. And we had all our secret weapons badly hurt by the third turn, except for our valiant bomber, who played an entire game. Only used 2 bribes as well...
And the 12th match was chorfs too, and they killed our ooligan and smashed everyone else into the injury box. Wasted my apo in that game, but now we have enough money to ... get back to a roster of 11 goblins? What is going on?
Lucky 13th? Well, not that much; Egregious Procedure broke his ankle and we didn't want to waste the apothecary on him, but although it was another 3-0 drubbing, we got to inflict quite a bit of hurt on the opposition, which means one of our goblins could skill up. No Dirty Player, sadly...
A recovery match. Against Ogres. At least none of our players were seriously injured but there's a certain rage you find when you can't even break a snotling except by fouling. Could have been worse; it wasn't more than 2-0...
A fun game against lizards. We lost 4-1, but there was a lot of goblinoid aeronautics. One one turn touchdown courtesy of a gimped goblin, and a serious injury meted out to a skink by throwing a goblin on him. Plus Major Misunderstanding claimed another victim, knocking down lizards all over the place and badly hurting a skink...
6 casualties against, plus some fouls and self-inflcted injuries. Not too much lingering damage, but the only time we got the ball deep in their half was a flukey pick up after we blitzed their defence. Not their finest hour - but whenever is it?
Up against halflings, but missing a troll. Almost won, but got pitch cleared and he scored in the very last turn. Soooo close. One goblin dead, another MNG.
11 casualties. Unfortunately, 8 were on our team...At least the trolls were ok.
Just like old times. Only two players left on the pitch by the final whistle, and only one standing. Still, at least we have the money to buy a Doom Diver now... How long til he gets eaten?

Team goals: Lose to Civite by less than 3 touchdowns. Buy some more goblins. Replace The Prince Regent once we have a decent set of reserves.

Things to do: Sack a secret weapon [pending], drop a reroll [done - back to 4 rerolls after our 13th match]. Maybe keep the Chef until he gets his second skill, and if it's really funny, keep him, but otherwise trim the team down a bit...
