Top 25 List Seekers

Opening game cost them 2 Blitzers and a Linerat and MNG the RO.
Took their opening TV down from 990 to 660 (before JM) at 860 should they be retired or will they actually get a match up this low?

you can get match up's this low. but be prepared to lose some men if you do. It's easy to make a come back from being laid low. BUT it's your choice. you could retire the team, make a new one and have an even worse game.

They would have against this team at 660. Now they can't anymore. Smile

And yes, there's a chance you find a game at 860 TV, but you'd better be patient. You should retire them.

If buying a new team makes your team a bazillion percent better then don't mourn the loss of your old one. Just come up with a better theme and move on.

Another contender for the worst opening game is Happygrue in the CoS (and he WON), with http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=721500 that team, who are now 550 TV moving on in the tournament.

@Mephistodragonbane you are quite right, a new team wouldnt bring any assurance of a better opening game.

Well, losing both blitzers is rough. The only reason to keep the team for me would be the 4SPPs on the Rat Ogre. You've still got 2 Gutter Runners which of course is plenty to win a game, unless you're planning on holding on to this course of auto-retirement Wink

Next game: no contact! consider throwing the ball to an empty square (depending on opponent and setup). Good luck!

Hang onto them if you want to... the SPPs on the rat ogre are nice. But it's going to take you at least 2-3 games to get those blitzers back, and who knows if you'll have lost anyone else by then? Granted, that's the nature of skaven -- you're going to lose some men. But you could get them back with relatively little cost, just by restarting.

@Badoek win games? me? I dont win games (well 24% win ratio, but effectively no wins)

@the_Sage I feel I may get pushed off that list too :p time to stop bemoaning a little bad luck

@ahalfling yes I dont mind playing down positionals thematically it gives the linerats a chance to get on their lists Very Happy
