Tournaments take place at the Tournament Group
Slams are four team mini tournaments.
There will be TWO types of Slam.
1. Instant. Both matches should be played 'back to back'. Please ensure that you have time for TWO matches
2. Regular. The first round matches kick off at the same time. The final must be played within TWO days. Back to back if possible.
You may sign up from 15 minutes before the kick off time. Sign ups earlier than this will be receive a PM reminder to sign up again then be discarded.
Each team to win a slam wins a Slam bracelet. For each three bracelets a team wins it gains an invitation to a 4 team Grand Slam tournament. Winners of three Grand Slam are invited to a Super Slam.
Different Slams will run under different rules. Available rulesets will be
1. CRP
2. League of Legends
3. O[L]C
O[L]C Rules
CRP except for:
1. Fouling +1 to armour roll.
2. Claw does not stack with other skills that modify armour rolls.
3. Piling On allows coach to reroll injury only.
4. Right Stuff prevents the Tackle skill when blocked.
5. Sneaky Git functions like Guard on foul assists.
6. Banned sneaky git players are sent to the KO box instead.
LoL Rules
Slams may have TW limits which will be declared when a Slam is announced. A slam may be Open i.e. no limit.
1000 - Novice
1100 - Featherweight
1250 - Lightweight
1400 - Welterweight
1600 - Middleweight
1800 - Lightheavyweight
2000 - Cruiserweight
Open - Heavyweight
A Slam draw will normally cover three weight categories. A coach will only be selected to play in one category. But coaches are encouraged to enter teams in multiple categories to increase their chances of getting a game.
E.g. for a particular draw admins may nominate featherweight, middleweight and heavyweight.
If there are four teams in a category a tournament will begin. If there are more than four teams admins will allocate teams beginning with the lowest qualifying TW first.
Join chat at #FumbblLeague to be kept up date. If no SLAMs are able to start, coaches who are available may opt for a SLAM at a different weight category.
Teams must be in the [L]eague division AND be marked ready to play

Dang, I also thought (hoped) this was a spin-off of the Stunty version of S.L.A.M.
Anyway, the group page that's linked for if you want to be informed of other events doesn't accept members. There's no dropdown to select a team, no join button, etc. |

We got one SLAM running today. Tuesday night It's going to be O[L]C rules. I suspect that Open will be the most likely to run.
