Yeah good point, PainState. "Blocking yields SPP" is the common answer, but is T16 LoS carnage proper in each and every situation? What I've seen some of the more gentlemanly coaches do is, hit the journeymen and unskilled players only. Also, I want that rib-eye steak now!

Haha fouling used to be the most common topic that spawned the longest threads when we were still playing LRB5. LRB6 is normally about CPOMB so this is a rather refreshing change Smile

The refreshing thing about this thread is that the OP was actually trying to be constructive.

Fouling needs no "policy" as its hindered enough already. I miss the true dirties (+2/+2) days, where fouling was part of the fun. Now its still fun, but not as bloody as it should be. Its BLOODBOWL not huggy-do-gooders-bowl.

i played harad the game after the 1 mentioned above and hes a really decent bloke ....i wish i could have been botherd to foul now n get my name on the wall of shame lol see u soon harad with mah foot ready

He was complaining someone fouled his stat freaks to death during the second half of a game...

But yeah, let's try to be a bit more constructive... Fouling at the end of the game does not necessarily mean you're a sore loser. Sometimes that's the case, sometimes it's for many other reasons: you love the RIP sound, you wanna get some badges, you think your league would be better without a stat freak that grants his coach an undeserved win / loss ratio, you wrote a bio titled "BORN TO KILL" and count the score in Cas instead of TD... All those reasons are valid IMHO. You may not play the game the same way, but one's fun can't be everyone's fun.

I agree that some t16 fouls are lame, but you see them coming miles away. No, I won't (and I don't think anyone would) enjoy a one-sided 8 turns stall/foul out of despair because the other coach hasn't won a game in ages. But in the majority of the cases, how can you know what's in your opponent's head? You may see him as a sore loser, when he's not. Whose problem is it?

And learn to live with that! Even when someone t16 fouls my player out of frustration, I wonder what went wrong and generally, there's nothing to be upset for. Did I play as a douche and ruined his fun? In this case I deserved the foul. Did I pick an opponent or a team, which ended up in a one sided game? Same. Is my opponent really a douche? Then I'm actually proud to have upset him. I will rarely care, because I have no reason to.

Unless you care about your pixels of course and have not realized yet they will all die, sooner than later...

I'm prepared to be wrong, but I do not think I complained. Sorry to sound like a broken record but I want to reiterate that I was trying to understand the norm. I hope at no point did I suggest that what someone else had done was wrong. That isn't for me to say.

I think all the nerfs to fouling originated from boo-hoo pixel-hugging chaos, dorf, orc and chaos dorf players. They felt wronged when they lost the game to devious elfballers AND only got 3-10 cas per game while elfballers got a random cas or two from THE BOOT. And they be dorfs?! SO MUCH ARMOR NO ELF CAN'T HANDLE!?

Bring back the boot 2014! (also bootin.pdf, where is it, specialist games are no more and I have no backup Sad )

In reality most people are not arguing about your post at all.

The fouls in your game were fairly early. There were TWO more TDs after the fouls. Most people have cut straight to the chase and started arguing about turn 16. Wink

Edit: This is a blood bowl forum. Complaining is what it is all about. Twisted Evil

There is no etiquette when you foul, either foul or dont foul, reasons behind it are meaningless to consider.
