Throne room of Tomb King Settra
Settra sits on his golden throne, Rah-Ma, his most trusted advisor stands at his right hand. Across the room the Prophet sits in a vomit green bean bag with a trio of guards standing at the ready behind him.
Both men give each other glares, looks of hate, malice and spite. The Prophet is a usurper and a defiler of the ancient Gods. Settra is a tyrant, a perverter of the Old Gods and a megalomaniac that must be dethroned.
Six months of open conflict on the battle field has given both men little gains. Rah-ma has called a cease fire and the KPL will now be the battleground of these two forces. During the cease fire the KPL will once again start up. Both sides waging a hidden war on the pitch. Which side will emerge victorious? Will a season of Blood Bowl topple an empire for the Prophet? Will victory for Settra reinvigorate his forces on the field of battle to finally smash this usurper back into his grave?
Rah-ma steps forth between these two powerful men.
It is time, LET THE KPL DRAFT COMMENCE!!!!!!!!
The rabble that is outside the palace lets out a cry of anxiety and excitement. The KPL draft is about to kick off and they love their Blood Bowl.
Meanwhile, outside the city gates, children are throwing stones at coach Synn, who is still crucified at the city gates. He thrashes about trying to deflect the rocks; moaning and wailing at them to stop.

** vampire teams in the KPL **
Vampire Teams are not allowed to have their Vampires to Draft; Bombs, Chainsaws, Stabbers, ball and chain or any slot with a racial nega trait associated with it. It totally messes up the client and will freeze the match.
Only Thralls can have any s. weapons or nega traits. |

Throne Room of Tomb King Settra
It is time, LET THE KPL DRAFT COMMENCE!!!!!!!!
The doors to the anti-chambers on the throne room open up and current coaches of the KPL emerge. Flanked by their draft gurus and advisors. They take their places at the front of the room and start talking.
Settra and the Prophet are “eyeing” the coaches. See if at the last minute they will change allegiance.
Rah-ma moves to the center of the room where a small dais is set up. Two large wicker baskets sit on top. Each one labeled for who they declare their allegiance and drop their draft list.
Rah-ma gives a dramatic moment of silence as the crowd is waiting and dying on each second of time that passes
Coach Pythrr approach the dais and cast your draft sheet!!!
Coach Pythrr stands up with confidence and approaches the dais. He glances at Settra and the Prophet. Pulls out his draft sheet from his loin cloth. Smells it and gives Settra a evil grin, opens the wicker basket of the prophet and drops his draft sheet in.
Settra slams his fist on his throne, giving Pythrr his penetrating gaze, his informers were correct. Settra sits back and awaits how the draft will fall out. Thinking to himself that anybody who betrays his leadership is KOS.

coach Azure stands up. He wears royal clothes that harken back to the glory days of Khemri. He stands before Settra and bows, turns to Rah-ma and offers a friendly greeting, patting him on the back. Lifts the lid of Tomb King Settras wicker basket and drops his draft list in.

PainState stands up and staggers a little bit. He picks up his 60oz stein of beer, grabs his beer stained draft sheet. Approaches the front of the dais and bows to Tomb King Settra. Raises a toast to the Immortal king and quaffs a huge amount of beer. The rabble outside lets out a cheer and they to quaff large amounts of beer.
PainState approaches the dais and drops his draft sheet into Tomb King Settras wicker basket.

A couple of questions about the draft picks:
1. On a Blitz-ra if I pick a draft player with block on the list do you just take off 20k? e.g. #13 Block and Dodge +50TV on a blitz-ra just means dodge for 30k.
2. On a Thro-ra will (#25 leader +30TV) cost 30k or 20k?
3. Ball & Chain skill, does that come with extra strength or will we have a load of strength 3 chumps knocking themselves out in turn 1?
The Nummulites are looking at which side will generate the greatest riches but will decide soon... |

#1: If you draft a player who has block and dodge. And that player already has block, he will not pick up block and will just pick up dodge. That would be +20\+30TV depending on type of player and so forth.
#2 Leader on a thrower with P access only costs 20TV
#3 Ball and chain players DO NOT get any +ST boost. They come as is with a big ball and chain. |

Now as a reminder about the S. Weapons....There is no S. Weapon nega trait on them. They do not get sent off in the KPL. They just get sent to the grave it seems. |
