I have now enough money to buy a Snow Troll for my Norse team, the Carnage Committee (https://fumbbl.com/p/team?op=view&team_id=836994).
From my Tilea team, I know they're quite awesome, but I don't know if it really works in this team and how much the TV bloat is going to hurt me.
So I will ask better coaches what do they think. What should I do? |

depends, if you want higher TV then yes. Some teams (coaches) doesn't use their big guy. I would use him, but I would also kick some other team members, especially niggles. then again is 13 players good for a norse team? hard to say, find it hard to find the right TV balance on norse teams. my conclusion is, yes buy him if you want more action for your team, but also more randomness. |

The Snow Troll is a pretty good big guy. That strength and claw could come in handy. |

Claw is awesome. If it was a bashy league, i would say: buy
But you are playing in ranked and you can choose who you go against.
I'd say that use the money now to buy new linemen and retire niggled ones. Also try to hold reserve (money).. i'd buy the troll when you have 100 000 money left after you buy that positional in case you get some important guys injured/killed.. And with Norse it should happen quite often (not as often as with skaven, ogre, halflings or woodies.. but somewhere near there)
I'd hold a bit if i was you and buy troll later. |
