Role 1d6: On an odd roll, wind goes left to right first half and right to left second half. On an even roll, wind goes right to left first half and left to right second half. One extra scatter roll on each scatter roll and two extra scatter rolls a roll of 5 or 6 on 1d6. +1 to all passing rolls when wind is going "your" direction and -1 to all passing rolls when wind is going "their direction.

This should go in Ideas and Bug Reports.

And it needs to be thought-through a little better. Is this supposed to be a new entry on the Weather table? Something that's always in effect if coaches agree to use it? Something else somehow?

And when you say "right to left", does that mean on a pitch (i.e from side to side) or on a screen (i.e the wind is at the back of one of the teams, basically acting as a bonus for them?) I think the former would be more interesting obviously. And do you really think it's a good idea to roll an extra D6 for every single scatter? And, and... so many questions.

Read the topic, thought this would be a new troll skill.

*Wind - any player standing directly behind a troll at the end of their turn must roll 2+ on a d6 or is placed prone due to significant sensory depravation caused by a pungent trollish bottom burp".

Fun fact, did you know:

Wind is already in the game. When its nice weather and you roll another nice weather you add "gust of wind" and need to roll extra scatter because of it.

Edit: Only on kick off event tho.

Fun fact #2. When it's important that your kick lands IN-bounds (praying for a 3+ pick-up fail to help win your match), your kicker will always be MNG, and the scatter distance roll will always be a 6, followed by a bounce into the stands.

If the kick dosn't matter, it will always land 2 squares from dead center, with or without a kicker.

Suck it, Nuffle.

Having wind either in your direction or against that causes a decrease or increase in the passing zone could be amusing. Might tempt someone to go long pass/bomb occasionally when they have recievers forward, and further scupper those who like to do quick passes.
Not sure if wind should affect bounce scatters.

Man, I miss the old "dark elf wizard controls the weather" rule.

Ok, it was insanely overpowered. But boy it just fit the Delf's perfectly.
