I'm reluctant to ask, but why is your anti-virus blocking your game and nobody else's AV is blocking theirs?
Which AV are you using?
Have you whitelisted Java? Or the jnlp game file? Or the FFB process?
I wouldn't recommend whitelisting Java, unless it's on a short-term basis. It's like whitelisting your web browser. |

Some of the big anti virus softwares like Norton cause quite a lot of problems blocking stuff. |

There's no reason to use third-party AV. Uninstall and use Windows Defender (aka Microsoft security Essentials). Third-party AV is a security problem to a greater extent that it securies you from more than Microsoft's built-in tools. |

TL/DR: Uninstall your AV. Ensure Defender is enabled. Sit back and enjoy your care-free life.
There are a vanishingly small number of use cases for 3rd-party AV these days. There is more chance of there being an exploit available for your 3rd-party AV than there is that Defender will miss something. It's deployed on the most number of endpoints and so learns about more varieties of malware. Also MS have lots of other inputs to learn how to defend their operating systems. They've improved a lot in the last 5+ year.
The main reason the home-user varieties continue to be used is lack of knowledge by normal human beings. Over time as licenses expire, computers get replaced, more people have non-desktop devices, etc etc, the number of installs will reduce.
The main reason they are used in corporate environments are policies and compliance that says "must have AV". Things are slowly changing though.
Nothing provides 100% protection though, so operate your defence in depth approaches to computer security, use MFA, and password managers. |
