I have an idea for an alternative version of bb called bloodtimate. It's based on the game ultimate frisbee https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultimate_(sport).
Rules will be
- 11 players on team, 7 on pitch
- You can't run with the ball
- If you have the ball and haven't passed in your previous the turn first action the following turn have to be a pass action
- At Kick-off all players start in the endzone, on the ball can be used to move forward
I would work on custom designed racial rosters for this, but at first just use the human roster with a few modifications for playtesting.
- All players get PA acces
- Linemen (0-4) PA = 3+
- Thrower (0-2) + on the ball
- Catcher (0-3) PA = 3+
- Blitzer (0-2) add AG acces
- no ogre
All players will be rewarded +10 spp just to make first playtesting a little more interesting. If we have fun I'll put some effort into the custom rosters and a league setup.
