Stunty Leeg will be a standard league format with agent fees. You will NEED to be willing to be comfortable with player deaths, but besides that its a blast and I will go so far as to say that the player deaths will make it more fun. Please look at the team compositions down below and I think you will find that the team types built by Christer and then normed by JamesLangley into 2020 rules is bloodbowl at its best. It will be about mitigating risk but will have a lot of zany dice results. In other words, a lot of fun. I could not incorporate these into a draft league but I have made some 7s equivalents. The agent fees are in place to help feed draftees to the main draft league BCL.
Essentially, I tried to adapt it to being a draft league in the XLB (still happening). However, after manually rewriting the rosters as cutom rosters compliant with NCBA 7s and BCL (XLB is affiliated with BCL and WILL have stunty teams like Clan Moulder, Goblins, and SNotlings etcetera from standard and SL but not Stunty Leeg) it became clear that stunty leeg is purposefully not as powerful but arguably more fun than standard and secret league teams. Therefore, to he,p feed the ecosystem of the BCL draftees I will incorporate agent fees, however, that helps keep the TV where it should be low and fun. Similarly, it is likely that deaths will help that too. 7s is best played at low TV so that was a natural take to NCBA 7s as well. Dungeonbowl its more about the lists of interesting rosters than actual high TV BUT its certainly more arguable.
This will be the last of the non-draft league that I will promulgate for a while. I have built a very popular 7s league (season 2 is around the corner and we will likely have over 18 teams). Dungeonbowl is another league that is about to start 6/8 teams necessary to start that. Currently the Elf/UFL, standard team/IBA and secret team/KPA is full capacity but will expand next season. Forseeably a WIL/SWL like premiership league for SL would be cool or standard teams if not a mixture of both BUT I am done making other leagues for a while now. S2 begins Spetember 14th
Stunty Leeg involves a homebrew of rosters meant to provide wild dice rolling and exciting matches. It originated from the site itself, but due to the notoriety of the league has been replicated in tabletop leagues every so often. This is the only stunty league on site.
It features redraft to not bloat out the rosters with skills to retain the spirit of the game longer through the life cycle of the league, 2020 rules to accomodate 2020 progression (and redrafting).
Currently there are 4 franchises playing. We will extend or add a post season if the league grows to 8. In the meantime, it is a round robin competition. |
