Hey all!
I've spent some time with the BowlBot code and have added some new functionality to it.
You can now have BowlBot announce matches reported for your groups in your discord server. To do this, you type the following commands (after making sure you're a verified FUMBBL user on the main FUMBBL Discord server):
bb group add [groupId]
bb server set ResultsChannel [channel name]
These commands need to be performed in a channel on your server. You obviously replace the bracketed parts above with relevant stuff for your group / discord server. Note that you will only be able to do this to servers you own and groups you are a staff member of.
I also added a help command:
bb help
This will show you a list of current commands for BowlBot and some basic help for each command.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if there are some bugs, so feel free to let me know if you run into any. Also, feel free to suggest more features. |

Sounds great, thank you!
Too bad I'm not in a league - this is a very nice feature!
Does this only work for games played in tournaments created within the group? Or would group membership of a team enough? I.e. what makes a match qualified to be associated with a particular group? (I mainly thought about meta groups like E.L.F., but the question is interesting in general.) |

what does the group id look like? is it a 5 digit number? I'm trying to add match reports for "The Banter Bowl", which i think is "16201" so to add the group I need to do:
/group add 16201
?
if so it's not working. I keep getting "no such group command" |

For people looking for an answer in the future, you type in your discord #general
/group add groupid YOUR GROUP ID. Add and groupid are separate, not in the same little box but in the same text line. Hit right arrow key, then type groupid and hit enter.
To get results added to your discord for your group, add a #results channel and it should automatically post your game stuff there. |
