As an example, a Halfling Hopeful is NOT a lineman...a Lineman is a Lineman on a Human team.
Furthermore, the standard Goblin on a Goblin team is a Lineman for Goblin teams.
Ask for a team type and I can build you a team type in under 20 minutes.
Standard, Stunty Leeg, (fair) Secret League, Slann, and Bretonnians are all legal choices.
The Were SL team for example is considered fair, but the Northern Nippon SL team is not considered fair.
Format
Group stage followed by a knockout round comprising of the group stage winner and the runner ups.
Group Stage Scoring Methodology
Win=30
Draw=10
Loss=0
Point For=1
Point Against=-1
Shutout=3 (Win without allowing your opponent to score)
Blowout=5 (3 point deficit win)
Group stage Draw
Each group will be evenly distributed Bash, Agile, Standard, and stunty teams per group. For instance, I would randomly draw with bowl bot dice from the bash pool, then the agility pool, then the balanced pool and eventually the stunty pool. Once this is no longer possible a true random draw will begin.

Built in RRs like sure hands and dodge are very powerful skills in this format. Block remains very powerful, but guard is less impressive.
Notes
Everything goes, you can buy 9 dedicated fans, but you may lose a match against a better prepared team.
Fouling is allowed.
Star Players are disallowed.
All other inducements are allowed.
No Overdog spending on inducements.
This is not a try hard tournament purely fun, but yes, the team that wins your group is highly likely to be the most discerning coach in terms of dice roll risk. While the winner of the knockout tournament will be subject to luck most likely.
