yeah, i think the idea was to make Union the dexterous elves... But Fumblerooski is real bloat... with they'd got it for free. so sad |

In my opinion, Elven Union should be the Low Budget Elves, they should be the cheapest of the four Elven teams.
Their background suggests that to me. There was no need to add a bloating skill to EU Linemen.
For free it could have be ok. |

OOOH, the models are REALLY kewl! Wish they'd went blodge on the Dragon Warriors though & got a bit more creative on the Phoenix Warriors. I don't see any mention of 'My Ball' or 'Wrestle' though.
Edit: Ok, after a closer look the minis are just okish w/ 2 repeat Phoenix warriors & bare skin on high AV elves...I'll reserve the rest of my opinion when the full teams stats/skills are released. Wrestle/ Claw is really lame & Steady Footing over Blodge on Dragons really makes it feel like a more agile Bretonnian team. If Lions lose MA8 & the skill cats don't give a positional primary ST access then eh...more fail on grandma wendy's part!
Also, where are the Tomb King, Bretonnian & High Elf stars??? |

Id be shocked if they went ST4 on an elf roster. He might be GAS though but I doubt it.
Likely the dragon princes or pheonix warriors are MA8 and whichever isnt plus the lions are MA7. Otherwise normal elf AG2+, 3+ Passing (likely lower for lions) and AVo+ all around.
Even if thats "it", its a good roster and kind of replaced the delf "we start with 4 blitzers" now that they got their box cut. If they did get a MA8 AV9+ player, theyre my pick for best elf team. |

Not a fan of the models and the roster just looks irritating to play against.. and I'm not sure about playing with it. Wrestle means the lion warriors aren't good receivers, and means they need to get block and mb to be useful blitzers, i think lions are gonna go wrackle and wrestle strip. For that early tv sacking
dragon princess are decent recievers but my ball will lead to some unfortunate moments. Maybe that'll force you to play a passing game... but I doubt it |

It will be irritating to play against because of steady Footing.
Steady Footing is a gotcha skill...
They'll be blodged up in a game or 2 so you'll have to roll pow to knock them over then they roll a 6 and they get to ignore the knock down.. just a bit lame |

Since I got a silly 'gaze your skilled players to St3 puppets and block you to death' game against Vamps recently the question came up in my mind: steady footing is also gazed away, right? |

What is a "gotcha skill"?
I know "gotcha" means "got you", but I don't understand the meaning of "gotcha skill".
A lame skill? A badly designed skill? An OP skill? A frustrating skill to play against?
A skill like Foul Appearance, which can fail big time or be sometimes super annoying, when too many 1s are rolled?
Since only 2 HE players have Steady Footing it's not going to affect many knock downs.
It won't make a big difference in the end. DE with 4-5 easy-to-get Blodgers were way worse. |
