I really like the new dorfs!

It's bb fluff that they foul, and it's an interesting option to explore - particularly with pile-on allowing multiple fouls per turn.

That defensive will be the only escape in progression to monster orcs with guard on every lino, as well as other teams that just get guard (chorfs, nobs?).

Anyway, too early to say much more.

Sadly AMAZON will be stronger than today which means probably dominating the BT (also improved the PA of Blitzer and Blocker at 4+). No balance. No compensation. Sad

Guard's an elite skill now remember, so if you're facing an opposing team stuffed full of guard regardless, then you're getting an extra 50k or whatever of inducements (or just simply not facing that particular team if you're playing a TV-matched format). And apparently 30k of inducements is game-breaking now, so I'm told!

And if they need to take Block too to face your own team full of Block, you can double that number (you yourself are not paying the tax of course).

(So maybe you ought to be able to make use of those cheap dwarf bribes?)

DT is great with SF, it’s not the ideal function you want your blitzer playing but it is a valuable function.

DT is great with SF yes but someone has to explain me why i did not see any great coach top rated with Dwarf using DT skill in the past
eg just some examples taken from the top 10 dwarf coach in Competitive division

Now you have gained DT in your blitzer but he got has the agility of a tractor, on top of this all linemen lost tackle spam.

DT was common doubles skill for dworfs pre 2020.

I think that the main issue of BB2025 Dwarfs is losing S access on Linemen.
A good compromise could have been giving the Dwarf Linemen Brawler, no default Defensive, but regular S access.
Diving Tackle and Tackle for AG 4+ is a fair trade on Blitzers, I think.
Runners got default Sprint and that's nice to have. Most of times the ball will be carried by a Runner, with a back up Runner in case the first gets sacked or more speed is needed to move the ball, so AG 4+ Blitzers are not a tragedy.
Diving Tackle and Tackle are going to be used more often by Blitzers than AG.

Nobody picked DT for dwarfs because it was 40TV and there were better skills available for 20TV. BUT if you are forced to have it you can make use of it, it’s not like you got arm bar or PO or other useless garbage.

Actually giving them DT is exactly the kind of design choice I like. It makes a unique build option more likely to happen. Nobody is building towards it starting from scratch, but as is you are 20TV away from the ideal combo for that specific build.

You can still take guaed for LBs, its just more expensive but same time better with all that defensive.

Maybe try them our before going full durr on em.

Im sure they are as dead as darkies and orcs are.

They also get Brawlin' Brutes, Bribery & Corruption. This makes skilling them up quicker, plus bribes means once they start getting an attrition advantage they can foul with reckless abandon.

The DT tackle blitzer is a menace too. Really good against elves and st3 teams, he's just much worse against bash now, as you lose flexibility.
