With the skill Kick you can:

Before rolling the dice choose if deviate d3 or d6.

or

After rolling the dice choose if that is a d3 or a d6?

You have to declare before currently. Its a sad nerf to the skill.

The naf have ruled to ignore this change until the faq comes out. Fumbbl is following what the rules says here. Hopefully that changes in the future

To be very clear... this means currently you don't get to choose one of two kick locations
