Found that the bomb, if landing in an empty square, bounces. Re-read the book a couple times and can't find anywhere that it says it should, only that the bomb immediately explodes when landing on the ground (either as a result of a throw of the bomb or a fumble). |

i just search in the rules, and nothing. The bomb explodes in the square where it lands. Maybe is this a FAQ Preview? |

I believe it acts exactly as passing the ball does, except in 2 circumstances if it lands on the ground, it explodes. However, this doesn't mention landing in an empty square, which means that it acts as passing - and therefore bounces. |

Rules as written it bounces. NAF ruled it doesn't bounce because they don't like the rule. |

I don't see how it's going to be FAQ'ed. Errata'ed maybe if enough people moan that it nerfs bombs, but why should that change it.
"If at any point a bomb comes to rest on the ground then it will immediately explode in that square. Should a bomb be Fumbled by the thrower, or dropped when a player attempts to catch it, then it will not Bounce and will instead explode in that player's square."
It's clear from those lines in the rules that GW intend for bombs to bounce: fumbles and failed catches are the situations where a Bounce will not occur, doesn't need to say more than that to convey its meaning. It's not even in the Fumbbl rule clarifications, because there's nothing to clarify.
This is one place where the NAF saying their nostalgic view is "A correction or clarification where the rule is ambiguous or produces an unintended result" is indefensible. If they'd said non-bouncing bombs were a NAF ruling, I'd be fine with that, but they haven't. What's next, a clarification that says multiple rerolls can't be used in a turn? |

Yeah totally agree. They've ignored a few things outright...
