Im confused how it´s supposed to be regarding hatred/pro as well.
Lets say Ive got a situation where I throw a bothdown, a skull, a bothdown on a 3die block with a loner.
Ive got hatred, so I can take a risk and reroll 1 skull for a 3+ turnover avoidance.
Ive got loner, so I can take a risk and roll a loner check for a 4+ turnover avoidance.
Ive also got pro, so I can take a risk and pro roll a skull for a 3+3+ turnover avoidance (4/9).
Now WHAT HAPPENS, if I fail the loner check. Can I now retrace back to using hatred, as the loner check means the dicepool has not been rerolled? Rules say a dicepool can ever be rerolled once, but a failed loner doesnt áctually reroll, nor does it refer hatred or pro in any way.
So..? |

I have no idea but I want to know how it's meant to work too.
I assume you can reroll different dice one at a time with pro and hatred but yeah no idea re loner. |

U can’t use Pro and Hatred and Brawler etc to reroll different dice from the same pool
U can’t reroll a dice twice, so u can’t use Hatred etc and then try a team RR |

But question here is if he can use other means of reroll after he fails a loner roll for reroll I presume, so he didnt reroll any rolls. |

Your assumption is correct.
If you burn a Team Reroll but Loner blocks you (whether you tried to reroll Loner itself with Pro or not) you can use another source of reroll that is not a Team Reroll such as Hatred, Brawl (if not a blitz) or Pro (pro-vided (HAH!) you did not use the skill previously on attempting to reroll Loner). |

I do not see it that clear. It is stated that you can not use multiple re-roll sources on a dice pool.
For pro it is explicitly stated that if pro fails you can not use any other re-roll source.
Loner says, the re-roll is lost "as if it had been used".
Now this could be seen both ways:
a) Since Loner does not explicitly forbid the use of a different re-roll source you can use a different skill
b) Since Loner says to treat the re-roll "as if it had been used" that also extends to the effect on the dice pool.
I did not re-check but I am fairly certain the client currently applies b and considering the nicheness and complexity of the re-roll logic (you don't want to know...) I do not plan on changing it until there is some clarification or someone has a more convincing argument I missed so far. |

I would not allow a different reroll source after loner was failed. |

Thank you candlejack, I was more interested in the client interpretation than the actual rules as intended.
I think its open to interpretation, but should be clearly stated if it will be changed. So as per current implementation hatred is the safest option on a 4+ loner big guy.
However, if loner is failed the dicepool is unchanged, so a hatred reroll is not out of the question.. This would need a ruling somewhere, at some point, by someone. |

Doesn't Loner or Pro become the last check you made? |
