If you did icons with Chat GPT, how would anyone know? AI is renowned for ripping pictures apart and recreating them; that's actually a large percentage of what icon making actually is. Cowhead for example, was a ripping master. He once took an ogre belt buckle and turned it into a helmet!
The issue I see with Chat GPT is if it could adhere to the icon stylistic rules. There are quite a few points that are quite strict and whether or not it could adhere to those whilst keeping to the style. |

An idea to help the chronic need for more icon creators.
There are guides and likely videos about using picture editing tools, most likely even to do with icon/pixel making. But still I was wondering would it be helpful or just entertaining to host discord live sessions to help Fumbblers to get into the basics of icon making?
I could show how I do icons with GIMP (free program) on Fumbbl #Hobby-Hangout lobby and I belive that would be as low effort way for a someone to start trying as possible. Or it could work just as a pass time for someone wanting to see me work.
I could host these on Sundays or some evenings during the week
Any thoughts? |
