In BBT17, Rawlf's hapless EU team copped 3 consecutive charges by my Skaven (the odds of that happening are nominally 1 in 1,728).
The Skaven scored on the first Charge. They faltered early on the 2nd Charge (double Skulls) but then scored after an Intercept...
The 3rd Charge resulted in a long stalemate, with the Skaven eventually getting the better of things. On turn 8, a Skaven Blitzer got the ball, and needed only 2 naked Rushes to score. The 2nd (to the End Zone) failed, and the Blitzer Killed himself... (Apoth'd to Niggle). So "only" 2-0 to the Skaven at half-time (and with the Skaven receiving next). Along the way, the Skaven failed 6 out of 6 KO recovery rolls (but with no influence on the result).
In the 2nd half, the Skaven scored on their receive, as next did the EU, for a 3-1 final result.
It was one of those games played by Nuffle, with the coaches as mere spectators. I still have PTSD after the easy win (this was, I think, perhaps the wildest game that I have ever played). So my commiserations to Rawlf! |

I watched the replay of the first two "Charges!"
It was definitely an extremely unlucky event, but I have some reservations about the Elven Union’s setup in terms of Anti-Blitz! (Anti-Charge!) defense...
I’ll leave it to coaches more experienced than me to weigh in, but I think there are some dangerous weak spots in the sideline and also all these elf in LoS not so safe.
This teaches me that you always have to be paranoid about your initial deployment, especially against fast teams like the Skaven—a solid “Anti-Charge” defense is a must. |

Don't feel too bad Smeborg, Rawlf was coming from a draw with me after a last turn Time Out saved the loss... Nuffle gives and Nuffle takes, as always. |

Woooow I just played a game vs Rawlf today as well where everything was going my way, just a flawless Elven Union game.
What a day for him. |

Kids play. At my last tournament, I managed to fail 10 2+ rolls in a row, that's somewhat less than 2:100,000,000.  |

reminds me of a bb2 game i had once, delfs vs nurgle
every kick off event was a blitz, 5 blitzes in total
ending in a 2-2 draw 🤣 |
