I just released a blood bowl companion app for my local league, the Honey Badgers league (www.tassidelmiele.it)

Nothing groundbreaking; just a small side project I developed to have something simple and convenient that could replace carrying around a bulky rulebook during games.

At the moment, the app includes:

- A reference sheet with the most commonly used rules and tables.
- An up-to-date list of all Skills and Traits.
- An up-to-date list of all Rosters.
- An up-to-date list of all existing Star Players, including their Special Skills.
- A built-in chess clock for live games.
- A light / dark colour scheme

The app just got through the Android Play approval process and is now available either in the Google Play Store of your phone (search "Tassi del Miele" to find it), or HERE

It is completely free and will always remain so.

Have a good day everybody!

ps: send any suggestion and/or improvement to my PM box here and I will be very happy to look into them!

Sadly yes it is, for a couple reasons:

1- The developer fee for Android is 25 euros once. I paid that, and I can develop and publish as many android apps as I want for as long as I want. The developer fee for Apple is (currently) 100 euros per year. If you do not pay for a year, all your apps are taken off the store.

2- It is particularly hard to compile an Apple App without a Mac. They make a point of not making it easy for Windows developers to compile for iOS. Sadly, I do not own a Mac.

3- Apple is notoriously picky about its apps. The review process is harsher and they are much more strict with copyright potential problems. A companion app would probably face harder challenges even from a "clearance" point of view.
