So as the hot new coach of the future champs, Coach CastleMan figured he would come out and let everyone know just who exactly they signed up to play against.
The following is an excerpt taken from a 13-hour press conference:
Coach: Yeah, we are pretty happy to be here. Me and my squad were heavily recruited and received very generous contracts to join the league."
Reporter 2: Sir, with tons of big-name coaches and players already in the league, what do you plan to do about your first match against Coach Koadah and the Starry, Starry Knights?
Coach goes to reach for the mic but Lady Lucy Von Goldburg grabs it instead. "I have seen their roster. Bunch of ancient relics and nobodies. I mean come on, Count Luthor is still playing Blood Bowl after 1,000,000 years?!? Gross. Someone tell him that 900,000 years ago called and said you were too old then."
Coach: grabs the mic back "What *cough* she is trying to say is just because they have star power and recognition doesn't mean they are going to dominate us. Just because you haven't heard of Lady Lucy or Jeff Underwald or Jordan Coolwind or Strongroot Hardbranch doesn't mean they aren't just as capable and twice as hungry to be the new stars of the league. Soon every young boy, girl, goblin, and snot will be cheering the name 'Big Dong Doug. Big Dong Doug.' So that is what we are here to do. We are here to win. By hook or by crook."
Reporter 4: That sounds great coach and from what I hear you plan to also be on the pitch? Is this correct?
Coach: "You are damn right. I will go to war with these men." The coach waves over a strange, clearly drunk person out of the crowd. "Ladies and Gents, I introduce you to the average joe for the Aliases the Famous Use Blood Bowl Team, CastleMan!!!" A much younger version of the coach arrives on stage and stumbles a little. "I have used some of the local wizards to bring forth a 20-year version of me to act as the team's joe. I trust no one else with the job."
