One thing that motivated me in the past, but seems impossible today, is to get player to show up in the "did you know" section of the website.

Now... I'm not suggesting erasing the records, but maybe records that show the best players from each year? And maybe have records for "best" player that is retired and a record for best "Currently active" player? (must have played a game in the last... 6 months maybe?)

Like... some way to keep the current records that are on there, and create new record categories for people to be motivated for?

One option would be to alternate records between "All Time" and "Current rules version".

The Top Lists might benefit from that too.

hmmm yeah, records for each version of the rules that have been implemented over the years.

On Top Lists maybe. Did you know does not need that. All time and current would do fo that, I think.

Though, are current rules version records interesting enough for anyone to look at? Twisted Evil

well, the "seasons" "Spiraling expenses" and "re-drafting" teams makes it really hard to actually build interesting teams in competative division any more, I dunno if anyone will ever beat Mr T's record. But.... there could at least be some relative interest based on the power dynamics of the current rules

I'd love to see this. Maybe a breakdown by client era rather than edition? Like, LRB4 and before, LRB6/2016, and 2020/2025? Those are fairly definitive distinctions, but are larger bodies than editions. Also, a lot of players carried seamlessly over from LRB6 to 2016....

Thinking about it, this is really an argument for being able to combine rulesets when viewing.

You can still break most tds, most kills and most cas, just git gud.

Also i think if you commit you can break others yoo. Just takes a bit more of commitment on it.

The record for most TDs is 877. Could you even afford 10 other players if you were chasing that record?

There are too many people destroying rookie coahes as it is.

Well most TDs per game then, but has to say most of those record winners didnt have that "competitive" team so they did sacrifice something on getting that record i presume.

But most TDs per game, most kills per game and most cas per game are totally reachable, just make more effort ;P

Very likely.

Maybe sacrificing competitiveness to keep the player alive and feed them scores.

Sure, but easiest to achieve by destroying rookies. Maybe more negative than just playing a lotta, lotta games.

That player was built and played entirely in 2020 competitive. So, yeah, they redrafted 10 other players many times.

Also, why isnt that player shown on the did you know stats? Competitive should qualify?

My treeman Los Santos was the most fouls treeman with 21 fouls. https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=9267470

He still is but the positional name is changed to "Loren forest treeman" instead of "treeman", so he got removed from the top lists. He got done dirty by some nasty corporates trying to get their own treeman to be the top 1!
