EDIT: It should be noted that the results compiled by the NAF are influenced by tournament tier-list adjustments. |

Still too small a sample size and Comp impacts NAF heavily... e.g. there's no way flings do so well if their elf stars get banned in future and so on...
But yeah the usual teams are at the top
But still interesting stuff |

Yes FUMBBL #of competitive games are 1 sometime 2 order of magnitude less than NAF games as NAF TT tournaments started since more than 6 months.
But a tendency seems confirmed that Orcs and OWA seems top 5 in both win rate list so far.
which confirms that rating Orcs as Tier 2 it's quite debatable. |

To the right of the statistics, you can set the year to "2026" and filter for the "Blood Bowl 2025" variant (it take a while to load).
Thanks to Fumbbl's stats (which are now also more extensive), I was able to weight the NAF results.
Here is a synthesis in the form of a tier list:
Note: Tier 1 is better than Tier 2, and so on.
Sub-tier A is slightly better than Sub-tier B.
(Teams ranked in the same tier and sub-tier are listed in alphabetical order)

The two main special cases are the Elven Union and the Norse. The Elven Union has performed very well in tournaments, particularly because the Eurobowl ranked it in a tier that was far too low. The Norse, on the other hand, underperform in tournaments but still maintain fairly good results on Fumbbl.
Another special case: Undead teams with regeneration have a disadvantage in formats where teams are fixed (no leveling, no sequels, and no permanent death). Conversely, for teams that are both vulnerable and expensive, which benefits significantly from this type of format. |

I have no idea what's up with norse, but I'm pretty sure people only ever take pro elves when they are tiered too low or when they need to for squadding. Like what people did with humans in previous editions. Which explains the lack of games and great win rate.

I wonder if there's a way to get data for progression leagues. Blackbox has tv based matchmaking so it favors extremely cheap teams like humans, where as a fixed league schedule would likely yield different results since tv efficiency wouldn't be as big of a deal. And our data is skewed by the black box trophy. A lot of the best coaches are playing black box trophy and taking teams that were under tiered and not taking teams that were over tiered. like for season 17 Orcs and Humans were rates @ 3 points, Snots @ 1 point and dwarves @ 4 points so a lot of very good very competitive coaches weren't playing as dorfs and were playing as snots, whereas I would expect to see the dorf winrate go up significantly if dorfs were incorrectly rated @ 1 point on the black box trophy |
