yeah I looked it up after I posed that, you're right. but there's still a 1350k cap and 15 games played means you get 1150k even with 0 wins or draws and 0k in the treasury so you only need 200k in the treasury and a tournament steam still can't redraft above the 1350k hard cap |

Redraft is the only thing that makes games past the first 15-game season bearable. I remember my first time spinning a team for their 16th game by accident, no redraft implemented yet, and I got MattDakka's undead team with 117 games (I lost because I sucked, btw). I did not spin with teams after 15 games until redraft. My first Fumbbl Cup was also dominated by someone with 200+ games on the team, I believe against a team with mv8 ag2 st4 dwarf runner, which made me stop attending tournaments until the edition change.
So I'm all for redraft. I would even lower the cap to 1300k. |

I would lower the cap to 1300k as well. 1350k and 15-game Season settings don't fit the BB 2025 ruleset.
1300k and 10 or 12-game Season.
My HE, despite being a team with expensive players, have not been trimmed by Re-Draft as much as they should have been:

Yeah, I wish redraft fees were 10k per season + 10k per gained skill + 20k per gained stat. Make it easier to redraft worse payers, and harder to redraft legend or stat freaks. |

Even better, if it wasn't based on anything not tracked for in game purposes (so not based on seasons played, games played, or spp earned):
10k per skill gained, 20k per stat gained, +10k if you have 2 gained skills or stats, +20k if you have 3, +40k if you have 4, +70k if you have 5, +120k if you are a legend with 6 |

Yes, but we have to use the official Re-Draft rules here.
So, we could try a 12-game Season with 1350k budget, if that is still not effective enough at trimming, we could try 12-game Season with 1300k budget and eventually 10-game Season with 1300k budget. |

1000k gold base budget
10k gold per game
10k gold per win
5k gold per tie
1350k redraft cap
70k per game ramp-up for the cap

Cap is 1350 yea, but it doesn’t immediately start there
After game 1, cap is 1070
After game 2, cap is 1140
Etc
It will grow faster than ur team typically grows, and will hit 1350 after 5 games, after which it just stays there |

I'm not sure what would be "best" for competitive division, but 1450 cap instead of 1350 would be better, or maybe the extra "redraft fee" wasn't applied for each player. I dunno, just feels like its harder for blood bowl to "feel" like blood bowl when you can't hire star players/wizards and whatnot reliably because of spiraling expenses and redraft tax and the other stuff that is "new" since LRB4. |

Instead of a squad made by 4 teams playing 15 games each, the BBT format could be a squad of 5 teams playing 12 games each.
Same number of BBT games per squad, 60, but shorter Season.
Or a squad of 6 teams playing 10 games each, again, 60 games. |

Play in leagues, you can run into large TV diffs there and can have fun with inducements more so than in BBT. |

NBFL, average tv is 2500, and we usually hit multiple games per season with inducements over 900k! |
