I have not seen Fumblerooski used vs me in BB 2025. I don't remember the last time I faced an EU team either. |

The weird thing about the addition of Diving Catch is that it's anti-synergistic with Nerves of Steel. Ideally, you want Diving Catch to give you the +1, rather than catch inaccurate passes. But an elf with Nerves of Steel simply can't use a +1 in most situations! I suppose it can negate pouring rain or Disturbing Presence, but that's niche. |

About diving catch -- Its for the hail mary pass combo the diving catch. They are a gimmick team at the moment. Enjoy your elf team at 2 pt at bbt.
I agree btw with the idea of keeping fumblerooski and lowering cost to 60k. Cannoneer I wouldnt object either, 5+ is a steep price for hail mary pass if you ever attempt it (used to be 2+). |

Diving Catch means you can sit 1 square deeper with the Thrower and then pass to the adjacent square of the Catcher. That can be useful tbf...
But really I'd rather the roster was left as it was. It was perfect before |

For sure the previous EU roster was better than the BB 2025 one. |

Did the fumble odds not change with the errata that rolls cannot be modified above 6, but they now can be modified below 1?
Fumbles are on either a modified or a natural 1, so fumble rates for a HMP are now 2 in 6, right?
(e.g. if no other modifiers, only -3 for long bomb:
1 - natural one, FUMBLE
2 - modified -1, not a fumble so INACCURATE
3 - modified 0, not a fumble so INACCURATE
4 - modified 1, FUMBLE
5 - modified 2, not a fumble so INACCURATE
6 - modified 3, not a fumble so INACCURATE) |

This is interesting, and rules as written this is how it goes. Can you confirm that is the actual serverside implementation as well? HMP might have some usage in a DAKKA elf situation, if it was a 3+ as described. |

So, assuming you check for nat 1 or 6, modify, check for accuracy, check for modified 1, then there would be three conditions where you'd only fumble on a nat 1.
1) The pass is at +0 or better;
2) Your PA is 1+;
3) The pass is at -5 or worse.
How does that interact with HMP? You treat a 6 as accurate, then all accurate passes as inaccurate. Do you check remaining passes after the tests for 1, 6, and accuracy, to see if they are inaccurate or fumbled, or are passes that fail the accuracy test considered inaccurate and you check those to see if they're fumbled?
In the former case, the HMP trick would be to set up a net -5 penalty, including the base -3, to halve (or quarter with Pass) your fumble chances. Or HMP with AG1+. In the latter case, those wouldn't help. |

I assume it works like TTM does at the moment really, which means a roll of below 1 is also a fumble. |
