… and he deserves them. Baelnic is an excellent coach and the •Butler Bullfrogs• are one of the premier NCBB teams: we knew this when they posted a winning record in Non-AQ two seasons ago; that's a tough thing for Slann to do, and now they're hitting their stride and are right up there in what looks like a three-way race to represent the Smack9 in the championship. You're not the only one who has that game circled on your calendar.
I'm just saying that lookng at the opponent after next when you've got an unbeaten squad between here and there is a nice formula for generating famous last words. |

Was happy to begin with.  Heck, was happier when you were looking past us. But couldn't let it go. This will be an interesting series: whoever wins the three-way HTH is going to get a champ bid, that's my prediction. |

The NCBB is split (currently) into a new coach/team division called the Non-AQ. There are also three other conferences; Big Beast, FBC and Smack 9
Below is how each conference measures up to the other conferences based on Win %, Tie % as well as TD's and Cas per game.
Average number of games played that result in a Win:

So what do all of these statistics even mean???
Well, that is up to you to decide. =D
I would like to set up the Bowl game potentials and add a few of my thoughts about how things might go down.
As it sits right now, I have completed my season and finished with a decent record of 7 wins 1 tie and no losses, earning me 22 BCS points. I had two fun and intense rivalry games between robocyote's Fresno State Red Wave and Baelic's Butler Bullfrogs and won them both, earning me another 2 BCS points.
Now, who will I face in the Championship game?
happygrue's Wisconsin Honeygrue's at 6 wins 1 tie and no losses with 1 game remaining
Krtyen's Oregon Waterfoul carries a 5 win 2 tie no loss record with 1 game remaining
Since this is bloodbowl and pretty much anything can happen, there are some 'what if' scenario's to consider.
What if...U.Con wins out beating Vampirebilt and Wisconsin?
In this case, being undefeated (3 ties) and having beaten not only the division leader but the reigning National College Blood Bowl Champions, will earn ryanfitz the right to be in the conversation to look to capture a National Title.
What if...Tennessee beats Oregon?
In this scenario, Tennessee won't be able to have a title shot but they can take Kryten out of picture.
What if...CSUB & SDSU win their final game, Oregon and Wisconsin both lose their last game and U.Con wins its final game but loses to Vampirebilt the game before it?
The loss route and variations of ties/losses will allow for SDSU (JackassRampant) and CSUB (Tzij) to punch their tickets for the title.
Lots of important match ups to be played that will be both tough and exciting.
That's all I have for now =p
BN: I din't put Baelnic in consideration for a few reasons:
1) He is my rivalry, tough love bro!
2) Errr...I smashed his team, Oops!
3) His final two games are against two teams that are going to, unfortunately(*grins*) continue to lay the beat down on those frogs. This will leave the team in rebuild mode and quite difficult to compete for the title game, even if they win out.
Side Note: Not only for this League but for all finals in all divisions, I feel that 'Star Players' should be banned because the teams, themselves, should be the only participants. It also mentions this in the rules, I believe. |

Had a thought for some added fluff.
After the season is complete every team gets a 1 game concession match. Hear me out. =D
Since this league is primarily fluffy fun and secondly a feeder league for the ncbb adding a 1 game concession would.
1. allow any players that are mng to recover. This would equate to having the entire 9 months off that a normal college team would have to recover and have them ready to go for the season opener.
2. fluff up a simulated training camp. 2 players worked a little harder in the off-season and gained some SPPs. Just like spring practice / fall camp in NCAA. With them just being randomly assigned I feel its much less breakage than having true "builder" games. Which this league doesn't need anyway.
