If ever there was a game to put me off the usual light heartedness of stunty i fear it has just ended, never have i been so desperate for a game to end. Well maybe once.

Seems that I have just played the longest most boring game ever. None of the usual jovialness of stunty or the fun risky tactics coming in to play. Taking 4-5 minutes to set up after kick offs and stalling for over 6 turns in total vs a team obviously less strong isnt the way i would hope anyone would play, but Albator managed it. Seems its not the first either

But anyways, good luck to all and bring a book.

It is a cup. I play for win. Each time I don't stall, I lost. And you forget that we had 8 more turns of overtime.

It is the first time that "Les Nabots" play really the cup. The last 3, they forfeit because of The Evil League. This time I hope that they will distinguish in this cup.

I think it means if you miss two games in a row and your second opponent DID play his previous game its deemed to be YOUR fault that the games weren't played and we dont want those kind of coaches now do we.

correct me if I'm wrong but thats how it reads to me.

SURELY Star Players have to be taken out of the stunty cup?

It give Goblins, arguably the strongest sides anyway, and flings well no comment, a huge advantage. Might just be seen as me moaning but both the games i lost in the cup were against teams "wielding" star players. Until all teams get a decent star player surely they should be left out?

Gives goblins too big an advantager imo but would like to see what people think.

Do you have what it takes to win the Stunty Cup 5 ?

If yes, you can join now ! <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=511">Click here !</a>

Allowed Teams: Any Stunty division team, one team per coach. Only teams with a TR greater than 150 may apply for membership.

Beginning of the Stunty Cup 5: March 22th 2004.

Type: Knockout

Organizer: Albator2001

Seeding: Random.

Teams play one round per week.

You can't play non-tournament games between rounds. It is automatic. Until February 20th 2004, you can play stunty matches to improve your team.

Star Players can be hired.

Overtime must be off. Overtime (eight additional turns) will be enforced when playing since there cannot be any draws. If overtime ends in a draw, a coin flip will (automatically) be done at upload time to decide who moves on to the next round.

It is up to the coaches of the teams to schedule the game against their opponent.

If you are unable to find a suitable time, the winner will be determined by a coin toss at 10 pm CET sunday every week.

A team which don't answer the organizer of the cup and which didn't play in the previous round is automatically eliminated.

A team which seems to avoid playing will be too automatically eliminated.

Any team who doesn't show up for more than 7 days will be eliminated.

I think that other teams could have star players too.
