A couple more games played today but with mixed success. The first game scored zero points against some chaos dwarfs. The second game definately went the darkelf way with some truly remarkable dice. After 4 games I think that the recovery period is at an end and we can start to play properly  |

E.L.F. Season XVII Snapshot Standings.
Still recruiting fresh TR 100 teams.
62 active teams in the second full week of play in Season XVII.
Dark Elves continue to dominate the top 3. Karond Kar Poetry jumps up into 1st place in the standings with 250 points. Copland Blueboys slides back into 2nd place with 211 points. And Unholy Convocation drops one spot back into 3rd place at 180 points.
The highest scoring High Elves are Justicia in 4th place with 160 points. Samovar Sinensis holds the banner for the Wood Elves in 7th place with 139 points. And the highest scoring Pro Elf team is Last of the True Believers with 120 points in 8th place.
Kings of Twilight remain the highest scoring League Division team with 50 points in 25th place. No Faction or Unranked teams have been active as of yet.
Two teams now above 200 points and 16 other teams in the century club.
Still only one cycle completed to date with no one else making the cut this week. Who will be next?

Some shuffling in the Categories. Portland Dirty Penguins remain the only non-dark elf team to hold a category, but now are leading in D instead of E for the Pro Elves. Karond Kar Poetry holds A and a share of B with Dead But Don't Know It Yet. Unholy Convocation and Dark Constellations hold C and E respectively.
Also of note: The 58 points put up by Unholy Convocation is a new Category C record under the new scoring system! Congrats.

The time sadly announces the loss of Ibrahim, a blitzer whose blitzing tackles had a mighty blow.... He was apo ed from a missing gangfoul early in the game, to be bashed around by a saurus for the last time.... media however blames the coach for his death....
The remaining 8 team member look for young darkies up for leaving the forest... considering also that Timotheus II, the teams top star and game winning player, feels the effects of age twice, getting slow although carrying less armour than his teammates... |

A High Elf team has broken into the top 3! Karond Kar Poetry holds onto 1st place in the standings for the Dark Elves - increasing its total to 297 points. Copland Blueboys falls back into 3rd place still with 211 points as Justicia shoots into 2nd place with 221 points.
Portland Dirty Penguins become the highest scoring Pro Elf team with 178 points in 6th place. And Samovar Sinensis lead for the Wood Elves in 10th place with 139 points.
